Buying a home is one of the biggest decisions you can make. Whether it’s your starter house or the home in which you plan to retire; there are so many factors to take into consideration and it is important to get them all right.Selling can be equally as stressful. Leaving one home for another: the process of packing and moving, making a smooth transition… Finding the right buyer at the optimal price should be the least of your concerns.
I have been down both of these roads myself. Several times. I get it.
My life trajectory has taken me from Brooklyn, NY, where I grew up to Manhattan where I attended CCNY School of Architecture. Then moved to Philadelphia where I worked in television news, met my husband Todd and raised our son Ben.
When Ben went off to attend Warren Wilson College, we moved to Tulum, Mexico where we had planned to build a house off grid in the jungle. We discovered there, a little too much humidity for our comfort not to mention dengue, so in 2015 we joined Ben, and his wife to be, here in Asheville, where we feel that we’ve finally come in for a landing.
I love Asheville and can honestly say that it is the most beautiful and welcoming place I’ve lived.
Since moving here, I have been investing in real estate and have remodeled several houses. We also found the perfect spot for ourselves.
